A non-functioning vape is pretty much just a paperweight, but before you throw it out or call customer support, it’s best to make sure it’s actually broken. Diagnosing basic problems can be easy enough to do, but for more complicated issues it may be best to contact the manufacturer.
First, check to make sure the device is on by pressing the fire button five times. These presses should be fairly close together, so be sure to press rapidly and ensure the button is depressed completely.
Next, check to make sure your device is actually charged. To do this, simply plug the device into a power outlet, using the provided or appropriate cable. Leave the device for a few minutes, then try to turn it on. If the device fails to turn on, try a different cable or try plugging the cable into a different power source -- i.e. a computer or laptop.
If your e-cigarette turns on when plugged in, but will not once it is unplugged, contact the manufacturer or store as it may be an issue with the internal cell or chip.
If your device has removable batteries, place them in an external charger and check their voltage level. They should not be under 3.0V and if they are you will need to replace them as they will no longer hold a consistent charge.
It should also be mentioned that some devices do come with a stealth mode. This mode of operation will turn the screen off, in an attempt to preserve battery life. If you suspect your device is in stealth mode, refer to the user manual or online to turn this feature off.
If you’ve tried all these tests and your device still won’t turn on, it may be time to contact our Customer Service team.
