Part of the appeal of vaping is the ability to control almost every aspect of the vapor produced. This means vapers have the ability to adjust the amount of vapor produced, how flavorful the vapor is, and the temperature of the vapor. That being said, sometimes your vape may produce vapor that is too hot and uncomfortable to inhale.
Not only can this be an uncomfortable experience to handle, but it can also change the flavour of the vapor you are inhaling in a detrimental way. Thankfully, this issue is easily solved through a few simple steps.
First, check the wattage on your device and ensure that it is optimal for the coil you are using. Many manufacturers will actually indicate the ideal range on the coil itself. Next, adjust the wattage of your device to match the minimum wattage shown on the coil. From there, you can adjust your wattage incrementally until you find the ideal power for you.
If you’ve done the first step and still find the vapor too warm, look to the airflow of your device. Airflow dictates how much air is pulled through the coil and mixes with the vapor to make it easily inhalable. Therefore, having a more open airflow will allow vapers to more rapidly cool the vapor they inhale, those this does come at the cost of some flavour but should also increase vapor output.
Finally, consider the tank you are using. Tanks designed for maximum vapor will often have coils that heat up more rapidly and at higher temperatures. If you find that the heat of the vapor is an issue, look to a tank or coil that has a lower ohm rating and requires less wattage to function.
